like summer showers
kissing the fresh spring flowers
spreading floral scents
they promised to each other
be together forever

Words chosen are: Love, promise and rain.
All we now have is love,
Bound with an everlasting promise,
To be with you in sun and rain….
We shall always be showering rain…
A gentle drizzle of never ending love,
Sticking to each others promise …
Let us now abide by the promise….
Get wet in this gentle rain…
Get bound to each other with love…
A love, keeping up promise and pure like rain..
~ It’s a ten line poem arranged in three stanzas of three lines, and ends with a single line.
~ The key words are the end of line words that become refrain and repeat.
~ Choose three words you’d associate with the image, words that will fall at the end of your lines.
~ Number them 1,2,3.
~ Your first stanza has three lines, with end of line words in the order 1,2,3.
~ Second stanza, the end of line words are in the order 3,1,2
~ Third stanza 2,3,1.
~ Last line uses all three words in order 1,2,3. ~ The lines don’t have to be any particular length but it’s usual for them to be all of the same length.
This is my first ever haiku attempt. These lines have been written for Secret keeper’s word prompt..
WALK | OLD | PROMISE | VIEW | BEAT
1# Each beat of my heart,
reminds me the old promise made,
As we walk to view …..
2# Beach walk n sunset view,
The oldest of promise I made,
Each beat is only for you…
