We are Waiting

At the early hours,
While guards were fast asleep,
Across the border they made a peep…

Took over the towers,
Set the sleeping jawans on fire,
This message was put on wire…

Who gave them the powers???
To sneak to our territory…
Play with our emotions periphery…

How long would they play under covers??
Their dirty and nasty acts,
Why do we still stick to those ageold pacts??

There are tear showers,
Bound n silent with values, But still burning-
With anger; eagerly waiting at turning°….

° turning here means the government nod to take a proper action against the dirty act of terrorists at Uri, kashmir.

-This is written with the pain, watching the news of burning jawans at the border, when they were sleeping. Very much moved…

*Jawans mean Soldiers

So many things keep me busy...but I just found a way to store them forever. There is so much of Telugu in here as I just love my mothertongue....

    1. That was an insane act by the terrorists Jane. So painful ….in recent times cross border issues have taken a very dirty shape. Non-violence doesn’t mean we are cowards …remaining silent is not always a solution. It is high time that government has to take a strong stand too..that is what we are waiting for

      1. Once being from the same soil…how can be they so cruel just because we are now divided into two countries…really hard to digest and now its high time that we have to give them back the pain they are giving us…

      2. Jane redrawing isn’t that easy…there are so many hidden angles to this dirty boundary games..much more than we can actually understand. Anyways this time government has taken the stand and we are in support of it…hope things get better soon
