Say Cheers

“Sarah! n Sasha! its your birthday kids !!…you are gonna be eight years old now”. Yes, I got to tell you something. Today is your last day here with me. I know, its painful, but its true. “Eight years ago you were brought into this world by your mother- who fought and lost her life on the way to give you life. Your dad left you both with me and today he’s gonna come to take you. I did my best in bringing you up all these years. Now, I’m old and sick. You need better care, So your dad is coming. You can come here in your vacation. There you have a better school, better home And ofcourse your dad would always be there. Be good to others and never quarrel among yourselves. Love each other and take care.” Now just smile, to make my day…
These are the words of a granny bidding farewell to her twin grandchildren. Her words have brought tears in the eyes of her grand daughter. But, her grandson was happy n excited to join his father and a new place to live in.

So many things keep me busy...but I just found a way to store them forever. There is so much of Telugu in here as I just love my mothertongue....

  1. For a first attempt at fiction, you launched into it well. What you might like to try is work the information you give in the explanation into the story. See if you can get across the different reactions of the children without having to tell the reader what they are feeling.
