Nine Waves Pantoum

image

Nine waves crash upon the strand,
In my ears the surf’s wild roar,
Golden arrow leaves my hand..
Arrow knows the dark command

In my ears the surf’s wild roar,
Flying to the heart’s deep core.
Arrow knows the dark command,
While the winds have taken their stand…

Flying to  the heart’s deep core,
Our intentions could really soar,
While the  winds have taken their stand,
The golden arrow made a roar

Our intentions could really soar,
High n high was their stand,
The golden arrow made a roar,
All the hopes apart it tore,

High n high was their stand,
Roared on us like a wild bore,
All the hopes apart it tore,
Our prayers  reached the core..

Roared on us like a wild bore,
Spill of gold used its wand,
Our prayers reached the core,
Nine waves crash upon the strand,

Spill of gold used its wanf,
We made our way to the shore,
Nine waves crash upon the strand,
In my ears the surf’s wild roar….

So many things keep me busy...but I just found a way to store them forever. There is so much of Telugu in here as I just love my mothertongue....

      1. I don’t mind another poet borrowing an idea or a line—they’re not my words, I don’t own them, just put them in a particular order. Other people maybe wouldn’t be so sanguine about it though, so as a rule of thumb, always credit the original source 🙂
